Some people call these trolley doors. I live in Monroe, so I call these barn doors. But these aren’t even doors, really. They are two ginormous, sliding white boards.
I’m used to building difficult stuff, but these doors were a pain in my neck. The track had to be hung from threaded rods connected to the ceiling on one half, and brackets screwed into a wall on the other half. We had to make some pieces for the metal brackets on site, since the track kit did not come with any way of hanging the cursed thing from threaded rods.
In short, I’m glad that Titus here did most of the work.

- On this end the track is supported by long threaded rods.

- They are a pain to install.

- The white boards themselves are plywood covered with a laminated whiteboard surface. (It’s like Formica, but white board.)

- These white boards weigh about 250 lbs a piece. Hanging them on the track was a bit dicey.
